Necklace (Another wonderful experience with them)

I was about to start my after-school class when suddenly one of the kids ask me" Ms. Eve, where is your necklace today?" actually he want to imply "Why you're not wearing a necklace today?"

So addicted to this stuff...

Realizations hit me., that means, it is my impression to them, -that everyday I am wearing a necklace. I simply answered "Yeah, I am not wearing a necklace today because I am wearing a flower brooch."
He just smiled & I gave him a grin then started the class. Nice kid, he noticed my identity. Sometimes you just don't know how observer they are in terms of physical appearance but yeah, they do.
--another wonderful experience with them. I'm loving my profession more.

...The Fox & The Christmas Tree

 The school's decorations.
As an English teacher, I had two unforgettable experience (so far) with my adorable students.
The other one happened before Christmas while I was teaching them Christmas Vocabularies, like candy cane, Santa Claus & Christmas tree. Our school put decorations just outside their classroom, so one time we went there in order for them to easily grasp the idea & for a "real-life thing" experience.

The nursery students with their Thai teacher
Ms. Aoy
When I was pointing to them where the Christmas tree is, one student boldly shouted: "Ms. Eve, mai chai Christmas tree, Christmas four chai mai kap?"(Ms. Eve, not Christmas tree but Christmas four, right?).
I laughed really loud & explained to them that Tree & three are different, the Thai teachers also help me to explain it to them.
It so happened that the school put four Christmas trees together so that makes him confused. Makes sense though, it was a lot for a 3 year old EFL (English as a Foreign Language) learner. Smart kid!

Another story happened just today during my after school class (Kindergarten 1 between 3-4 years old) when I was reviewing them their letter X vocabularies. One of the words was FOX, and note that Thai people was not used to  pronounced "S" at the end of the word. I ask the students if what is the picture, they answered me confidently & as loud as they could: "Fuck". I can't stop laughing & let them repeat the word after me, but they keep on saying "F***".
Kg 1 Students
Well, after 5 minutes of letting them repeat the correct pronunciation of the word they got it at last!
Cute little kids, the good thing is no one hears them shouting it!., LOL

ℳy ℕℝ (Nℴ ℛℯ℘ℓacℯℳℯnt. Nℴ ℛℯℊrℯts.)

He was the best man I've ever known. So understanding, full of compassion.
So God-fearing & most importantly WHO LOVES ME AS I AM, next to the LORD.
I was so blessed to have him in my life. It was such a great blessing & favour from the Lord that he gave me NR.  My best friend & boyfriend. He was the first man & will be my last.

"Long distance relationship" according to them was not easy, but for me: "IT IS".
According to him constant communication, trust, honesty, respect & love we're the things we must not forget.
Most especially, I do believe that God is with us through the circumstances we're facing.
Happy 16th Month My NR!
God is with us.

It's All About ℒℴ√ℯ

ℒℴ√ℯ is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
ℒℴ√ℯ never Fails!
When I was young, I do wonder "What is the feeling of being in love?, When am I going to fall?" & different questions that I want to be a mature individual at that time.

I was graduating in my Bachelor's Degree when I experienced the most awaited moment of my life. I am nineteen at that time, never had a boyfriend & full of ambition & dreams. I promised to myself not to have a boyfriend until I graduate, but never happens. I have lots of standards in finding the "MR. RIGHT GUY" for me. It was September 2009, when I said "Yes" to this very nice man, the standards I have set was in vain.

"All things work together for good", as what the famous verse in the Bible says, I do praise Him for giving such an opportunity for me to experienced love & be loved. Never did I imagine that I will fall for him. It started with teasing & then I don't know that he's serious. I'm used to teasing, I'm used to the words "Hey, that boy had a big crush on you", or "he likes you", but that's it! They don't have the courage to court me. Not that I look scary (LOL), but according to them, I have this sharp tongue that makes them intimidated, plus the fact that I have this strong personality which makes them feel weaker. (Not my own perception, but that's according to them.)

I do believe that if you are meant for each other, no matter what circumstances you'll face, time will come that you'll be "back in each others arms."

Truly, long distance relationship is not that easy, but through "partnership" & constant communication, You'll gonna survive it.

"Understanding, trust, respect & honesty" is the best words to put into it.

Para Sa Mga Pilipinong Malayo Sa PAMILYA.,

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
Ngayong Pasko
Nasa ng iyong puso
Makapiling ang pamilya
Makauwi ng bansa
Ngunit naalala
Wala palang PERA
Kailangang kumayod
upang may pampadala
at sa Pasko'y may handa sila.

Sa Noche Buena'y iniisip
kung anu ang gagawin
Sa Meja Noche'y di alam
kung anung paiingayin.
Masisiraan ng bait
sapagkat sobrang tahimik
Sa bansang kinaroruonan
wala palang pagdiriwang
(toinks, Tumbling yata ang rhyme!)

Iniisip kung paano iraraos ang pasko
Sinung makakasama sa pagdaan nito?
At naitanong sa sarili, hanggang kelan ganito?
"Manalangin ka nalang na tumama sa Lotto."
Este sana'y matapos ang gastusang ganito
At ng makauwi at doon magpasko.
Makaranas naman uli bago ka yumao.

An Encounter With "A Twist of Faith"

It was the third day of the new year 2011, when I decided to go to Pantip because my newly bought laptop's camera was not working. When I went to the factory office they told me to wait for an hour so they could fix it, I have nothing to do but say "yes" to them. "Waiting" is one of the things I don't want to do, especially if you don't have something/ someone with you.
I decided to go to the mall's food court to kill the hours, just stay there & watch people come & go. The place was quite crowded, but I easily got a seat. I've been sitting there for maybe 15 minutes when a lady; maybe in her mid thirties approach me in Pasa-Thai, if she can sit on the vacant seat in front of me. I didn't understand her at first then she replied in English. I was like "OK, that's seat is vacant."
I smile at her & give the assurance that "I won't bite." haha! She then start to ask me "Are you a Filipino?"
I replied "Yes."
"Christian?"
"Yeah.,"
"Oh, Praise God!", she exclaimed. "I was about to sit with that man, but there's something pushing me to sit here."
We had a very nice conversation which uplifted my soul.
She was a Buddhist 4 years ago, almost 90% of the Thai's are. She told me the story of her salvation.
It was 1999 when she studied at Bangkok (from the province) when she had the first encounter with God. She went to church for a while & after getting married, she's back to her old belief. Nothing change. Until one day, her sickness attacked her. (Stomach pain.)
She's the only one in her house because her husband has no time for her & they were not in good condition at that time. It was really a terrible attack, the pain she felt was more than  giving birth. She knows she'll gonna die at that moment. Nothing to call to, she was so desperate. Then out of nowhere, from the deepest part of her brain it says: Why not call God?., Jesus Christ! He can save you.
In a minute, she was praying "If you're true, not fiction, proved to me., Save me! Don't let me die! help me."
& it takes about a minute when the pain gets worse., then in a blink of an eye! She felt strange, she felt she' a new being. Nothing. She felt nothing but renewed & freed from the pain. Then afterwards, she spoke in the language she never knew. She was baptized by the Holy Spirit!
Truly, it's amazing how God moved in her life, how He showed miracle & proved to her that He is true. He transformed her into a new creation
Her life after that was not easy. Her family condemned her, many challenges & struggles had gone her way. But yeah, God had never leave her. From Buddhism to Christianity. Not that easy!
But God "Twist her Faith".
