My mom is coming 2 days from now & I am so excited!
I will do everything to make her happy!
I won't do anything that will hurt her.
I will buy anything she wants.
I will tour her around & we'll visit beautiful places in THAILAND!
I will let her eat all the foods she never tasted all her life.
I will introduce her to my colleagues & we'll come visit the school.
We will watch in a CINEMA because she's never been there.
I will spoil her & forget the worries & responsibilities while she's here. I will let her enjoy life as it is!

mother's day at Thailand

feels so good when somebody appreciates you...

“Open House” had just finished & I am so glad & flattered that the parents appreciate me as a teacher. I look younger than my age & as an English teacher in Thailand I’m still on the verge of impressing the parents. One of the Thai’s culture is “The older you are, the more respect you get”, and it’s really hard for me to please them & gain their respect. For me, doing open house is not an “additional pain” for teachers but rather a challenge on your career. I am so happy that from this activity I gained their trust & respect!

Here are their comments:

1. I enjoyed the classroom lesson, well-done. Thank you.

2. It was excellent!

3. It was brilliant!

4. Activities were excellent.

5. I was very impressed by the teaching standard and class participation, and the development of English at such an early age, taught in such a pro-active manner.

Appreciation

It's a nice feeling when someone or somebody appreciates your work.
I had my open house ( "Open House" is a situation where parents visit school & watch you teach the kids)
 last week, I did three classes. It was scary but yeah I have to do it since it was the school's policy. On the other hand, it was an advantage for me to have an open house since I want the parents to see me teaching, because almost all of the parents thinks I'm too young or am not professional because I look younger than my actual age.

Through open house I gained the parent's respect & confidence in me that I can teach their kids & I am the best teacher for them. I was so flattered that all the comments were good & it uplifts my spirit.
I remember the saying "HIS LIGHT WILL SHINE UPON YOU" & I had proven it., I had proven my worth.
And yeah!!! I am doing everything for HIS glory. Amen!

it's Sunday morning,,
I am planning to do the laundry, clean my room, read some inspirational excerpts, calculate my budget for this month because pay day is coming!!! (ETC.), & write more on my blogs,. but well, until now., I haven't done any of these.
ANyway., there's a lot of things running in my mind right now.,
...as in a lot!! loads of thinking... &

i just love the silence my room is offering me right now...

sometimes., I hate silence... It hurts my ears.. & it helps me feel that I am Alone!!!
but now., i appreciate it. it helps me think. introspect & reflect on things I should.
Thank you LORD for silence!!! Amen.

A prayer for "LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIPS"

Dear Lord,
I thank you for my life and for Your love. 

Thank you, also, for granting me a partner who loves me so much, who shows me some of Your character, and who brings me joy and fulfillment in ways I didn’t even know I needed! 

You are a gracious and loving God and I thank you for giving us the gift of being able to share that love with one another.

Lord, You know my heart, and You know that I would much rather have my partner from far away than not at all. 

You also know that sometimes my heart aches with the desire to be near my partner: to share life’s joys and to comfort each other when life is hard; to laugh together, to play together, and to be able to look one another in the eye and say “I love you,” even when resolving conflicts. 

I know that You have a plan for us, and that Your plan is much better than one that I could devise. Right now it is so hard for us to be away from each other, so please, Lord, fill us with strength for the journey. 

Help us recognize the value in each day, and to see each day as a new opportunity. Fill our hearts with compassion, understanding, and creativity to keep us strong when the pain seems too difficult to bear. 

And please, Lord, if you will, help us find a way to be together soon.

Thank you so much for being so understanding. I am really blessed that HE gave me a man like you. Sometimes I feel guilty everytime I'm going to promise something but I'm not able to do it. Even in simple things, I do appreciate your attitude of understanding me.  I love you so much, more & more. I miss you.

Last night me & ate Rina talked about you., & I appreciate you much & realized how blessed I am for having you. I'm falling deeper & deeper & yeah I know it's a good thing.

Wanted: Father

Honoring one’s father means more than buying dad a new shirt on Father’s Day.

Honoring parents includes the concepts of showing gratitude and practicing obedience.

 *POSITION: FATHER

Job Description: Long term, team players needed, for challenging, permanent work in an often chaotic environment. Candidates shoud be willing to work variable hours, which will include evenings and weekends and frequent 24 hour shifts on call. Some overnight travel required, including trips to primitive camping sites on rainy weekends and endless sports tournaments in far away cities!Travel expenses not reimbursed. Extensive courier duties also required.

*RESPONSIBILITIES :

Must be willing to be hated, at least temporarily, until someone needs money. Must be willing to bite tongue repeatedly.  Must be willing to face stimulating technical challenges, such as small gadget repair, mysteriously sluggish toilets and stuck zippers. Must be willing to be indispensable one minute, an embarrassment the next. 

Responsibilities also include floor maintenance and janitorial work throughout the facility.

The father is not only to provide, but also it includes physical protection for the family & especially to protect the family form spiritual danger. 

-Prayer

It is important that fathers pray for the family.
